Maleena specialises in sensitive, intimate narratives: the kind of stories that require care, cultural intelligence, and a director who understands ethics as much as aesthetics. She is a trauma-informed filmmaker and practises harm reduction on and off set.
She runs most projects through her creator-led production studio, StoryTell-Her Studios, or works collaboratively within platforms, production companies and agencies. Either way, you get the same standard: contributors protected, budgets respected, and a story that holds.
